For Morning and Evening Prayer: You can always participate in Morning and Evening Prayer wherever you are; the Daily Office is on the web at www.missionstclare.com.

Centering Prayer: Join us for twenty minutes of Centering Prayer in our Meditation Chapel.  Centering Prayer is by appointment.  If you are interested, please contact the office at 978-388-0030 or by e-mail at stjames.clergy@verizon.net.

St. James Men’s Group-The Men’s Group meets each Saturday morning at 9:00am to read aloud and discuss appointed selections in the Holy Bible and related resources. We learn about the circumstances of biblical events, their significance, and the people involved.  We encourage all men of St. James in Amesbury to join the group. You’ll like it! The customary meeting place is the St. James Parish’s Chandler Hall though lately we’ve hosted meetings at members’ homes. Call Arthur Yarranton at 978-346-4749 (arthuryarranton@yahoo.com) or Mort Gilbert at 978-388-3831 (mortgilbert@comcst.net), if transportation is needed. Regardless of location, morning beverages and baked treats are in the offing.

Our Women of Faith - This women’s group will resume in the Fall of 2014 with a new format.  Tentative plans are to possibly read the book:  Paul – A Man of Grace and Grit by Charles R. Swindoll.  Meeting time is to be determined.  Check this page again for updates as more information is available.  If you have general questions, please contact the office at 978-388-0030.
