It is the mission of Adult Education at St. James to assist everyone in their spiritual journey with Christ by offering a variety of options and venues so that each parishioner will find a convenient time and place for spiritual growth that fits their interest and learning style.
The Adult Education/Commission schedules educational programs which are content driven and include: adult forums on Sunday mornings, other lecture series, a pilgrimage in planning, our Lenten program and devotional booklet, the Nickerson Library and a book club.
Coordinator: Meg Grant

St. James Men’s Group meets in the Parish Hall each Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. – men of all ages are invited to be a part of this group (coffee is served!). Men are invited to talk with Arthur Yarranton to learn more.
Women’s Bible Study Group – Women of all ages are invited to join Christi Humphrey, Minister of Small Groups at St. James Episcopal Church, and Pat McBride, St. James member/facilitator, on alternating Mondays, from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, for an opportunity to engage the Bible with a unique lectionary-based study. The Bible Workbench method is used to explore a portion of scripture– What is happening in this biblical story? How is this story happening in the world around us? How does this story touch our life as an individual and how does it speak to us as a community?
Questions? Contact Pat McBride or Christi Humphrey. We hope to see you there!
